Qatar Company for cinema and distributing films is the Qatari principal company in the field of arts and cultural entertainment. It was established in 1970 by a group of selective Qatari contributors. They were aware of the great importance and effect of constituting the feelings of the society. The activity of the company had passed of a great activity and declining due to the spread of domestic video films. But the company has developed very much accompanied with the development of the country and the society under the best guidance of H.H Shiekh Hamad Bin Khalifa AlThani , the Amir of the state of Qatar and H .H . Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad his heir apparent. The theatres of show sprang to ten in 2002 instead of three as had been in 1996 , which were tow air conditioned khaleej and Doha and the open cinema as Ameer.
