Duboats was founded in Dubai by Bin Zayed Group in January 2003, to bring new international Marine products to the GCC’s fast growing leisure boating market. Living up to the groups motto of “excellence in diversity” and strong tradition to “make difference” in the ventures it undertakes, the young company is drawing on the industry’s top notch international expertise within a local setting to identify and meet the specific needs and requirements of the GCC market. The Duboats’ team was led and managed by Miguel Contreras, Portuguese, TP52 and Maxi Yachtsman, with more than 20 years in the boat business / marine consultancy and yachtsman Laying emphasis on the requirements of reliability, comfort and performance,Duboats (www.duboats.com) has partnered with top notch industry leaders to offer a wide range of sailing and power boats to cover various recreational uses by the GCC’s clients from cruising, sport fishing and yacht racing. Duboats Yacht Brokerage, deals with pre-owned and second hand yachts. The selection of Duboats product range, which includes long-haul luxury yachts, catamarans, sailboats and powerboats, is made with consideration taken of the short and long term development of the marine industry in the GCC. Development is picking up in terms of berths, yacht clubs and sailing facilities, which added to the calm and warm waters of the Gulf and regional seas, is expected to increase demand on all types and price range of the boats.
