It was 1917, and the recently created revolving oil boring system brought on a blast in the oil patch at Sour Lake, Humble and Goose Creek. Towns topped with roughnecks sprang off overnight as individuals raced to collect the dark gold which lay under the Gulf Coast marshlands of Texas. As more demands came in for new instrument developments, it began an indispensable path for working together at TIW: listen to the client and do everything conceivable to address their issues.
