About Ruwais Fertilizer Industries FERTIL

FERTIL was built up in October 1980 as a joint endeavor between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and TOTAL, with a shareholding proportion of 2:1 separately. The plant is situated in Ruwais Industrial Zone, around 235 km from the city of Abu Dhabi. Development of a preparing plant started in 1980 and generation began in December 1983. The prime goal behind setting up the organization was to use the incline related gas supplied from the coastal fields to fabricate manures and to market them locally and globally. It is contained one preparing unit each of alkali and urea. The introduced limit of the alkali unit was 1,000 MTPD and 1,500 MTPD for urea.
