About St Gregorios Orthodox Church
In 1970, at the season of rise of St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Dubai as a Parish, countless individuals lived in Sharjah. Their go to Dubai for going to the Holy Mass at Women's Society Hall in Dubai was an extraordinary experience. Along these lines, in the year 1973, a gathering of the Orthodox Church individuals from Sharjah shaped a Prayer Group, under the support of St.Thomas Orthodox Church, Dubai. Request to God gatherings were held once in a month, at the habitation of those individuals, under the authority of the Vicar from Dubai Church. This supplication to God gathering was the precursor for the development of the present St. Gregorios Orthodox Church in Sharjah.
